Lies Black Society Teaches About Being Black and Gay

Most African Americans are highly religious and take the Bible literally. Civil rights and equality between ethnicites is a high priority in our minds, therefore we are also largely part of the Democratic Party.

Atheism and being a part of the LGBT community are two of the top three big no no’s in the community. The last one is being a Republican. But in regards to the fear that African Americans have about the LGBT community these are the most frequently stated.

1. There is a fear that black people who are part of the LGBT community are succumbing or being influenced by white people or the West.

2. There is a fear that these black people are being influenced by the Devil.

3. There is a fear that you are betraying the black community and destroying it because you’re not reproducing.

1st there is a great deal of evidence that shows that the LGBT community was prominent and vibrant in Africa and various other countries. Links will be below. But a group of historians and scientists recently came out and gave the conclusion that being LGBT is not a western import.

2nd black people who are LGBT and LGBT people in general are not being influenced by the devil. Being LGBT is as natural as being cisgender and straight. It has been recorded in all cultures from the Native Americans and Middle Easterners to the Chinese and the Indians. Furthermore, if LGBT people where being influenced by evil forces then bad fruit would result from their actions. What bad things you see happening in the LGBT community are minimal and are a result of decades of repression and denial from their religious communities and society. If you repress children they will rebel. Children with loving and transparent parents are more likely to succeed.

3rd no one is betraying the black community by being themselves. To be themselves in the community is to progress it to its highest heights. Only by being unified and affirming of all of its people in the community can it thrive and succeed. If it continues to tear each other down it will fail every time. There are systems in place that bring ethnic communities down, but those communities have a part to play in their own misery. Love, understanding, and unity are the things that create a successful community.
